First of all, sorry for the lack of updates lately. Things have been pretty busy for me, thanks to work, personal life stuff and of course Anime Expo (Aqours at Anisong World Matsuri was simply incredible.) But I’ve been working on SIFAM whenever I have a free moment (which hasn’t been as often as I would have liked, unfortunately) and will be ready to push out a new release within the next few weeks.
This is mostly a bugfix release, to address the bugs that you all have been sending me. (I apologize if I didn’t respond to your email. I definitely read it tho.) Unfortunately, with the hundreds of different Android devices and Android OS versions out there, finding and fixing these bugs is pretty challenging, but I’m doing my rubesty.
However, this release will include a few new features as well!
First is a built-in screenshot feature, that does not require a third-party app. The new screenshot feature will also support automatic watermarking of screenshots.
You will now also be able to share accounts with people using the standard Android share sheet. This way you can easily send SIF accounts to other people with SIFAM installed via e-mail, SMS, or a chat app.
Finally, I’ve added a new feature that will let you create homescreen shortcut icons to specific SIF accounts. You can use this to easily launch a specific SIF account with just a single tap. Check out a video preview of this new feature in action below!
I’m not sure exactly when the next version will be ready for release, but I hope to have it finished within the next few weeks or so. Stay tuned!
